Charles Betterton 

Charles Betterton is a community economic development specialist and a former disaster relief expert for the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Betterton received the highest cash award ever paid a HUD employee for a suggestion that saved taxpayers millions of dollars.

Betterton has co-founded several non-profit organizations and served for over 30 years as director of programs providing training and resources in personal, organizational and community development and empowerment. He is co-founder of Ultimate Destiny University, CENTER SPACE (the Center for Spiritual, Personal And Community Enlightenment) and CAN DO!.

He is also co-author of the Ultimate Destiny Success System and he has a Masters in Community Economic Development from Southern New Hampshire University. He turned down a HUD Fellowship worth $250,000 to continue working in community economic development.
